Why would you dropo Lowe or Dempster when you have Jose Contreras on your roster?! Drop Jose and pick up Scherzer no question. Dempster and Lowe will both put up better numbers than Jose. Plus Lowe still has some trade value if you want to deal him.

Dempster and Scherzer are the same pitchers with Scherzer having a slight edge ..Cubs are 2 games back and Arizona is 19 games behind...I think I answered my own question.. also Atlanta is heating up and Lowe should turn it around..if ubaldo starts struggling I'll pick up Scherzer
