I think this would be a good deal for you. Thomas is a good back and will put up some good numbers next year and VJax is an elite WR who will bolster your WRs. You already have good depth at the RB position so losing Gore won't hurt too much because you will be getting a RB that you can start in return

I think this is a no brainer. The niners line will have serious off season trouble and are so much better at pass blocking. With Bush leaving in the off season, Thomas is an upgrade. He'll only get better as a receiver now. Jackson has reached elite status as a WR and could challenge Colston as your #1. You need that other receiver anyway and Britt and Wallace could easily have been season ending studs and that's it.

Just posted on your other one, but this seems more relevant. I think this is a good deal. NO looks to be getting rid of Reggie Bush in the off season, and PT will no doubt be the biggest benefactor of that. He's still a young back that is yet to hit his prime. Vincent Jackson is easily a great pick up and would arguably be the best receiver on your team vs Colston. Also, it's just a guess, but the emergence of Alex Smith along with Crabtree's promise may downgrade Gore slightly; he is still a premiere back, though. Still, if you are feeling hesitant, I would shop Gore around some more. Also, I would be more willing to part with Cedric Benson over Gore...maybe it's cuz I'm a bears fan, but I still hate that guy. Either way, its still very early for this stuff so your best option very well could be to wait and see.

It looks like Gore is your best player. If you give Gore, you will loose RB depth. Although your WR's will then be VJax/Meachem/Britt your other starters would be Benson/Bradshaw/Fred Jackson. You seem to have 3 TE's, you can give away one of them for a WR. Try something like Fred Jackson/Todd Heap combo for a decent WR.
